R2005F Week 5: Scrappy Dogs 4, Reapers 1
Hard fought, defensive struggle that didn't see any scoring until mid-way thru the second period. However, the puck just didn't bounce the Reaper way, thus, the Reapers fall 4-1 to the Scrappy Dogs.
The only Reaper goal was scored by Scott S. on a blistering shot that the opposing goalie had no chance whatsoever.
I was curious about the shot totals, but it seems that the official game scoresheet is incomplete. Perhaps it was undesireable for the staff to record statistics for a replacement goalie.

Eh, they generally only strike after a fresh update.
Deleting one or two after I post a story isn't such a big ordeal, but if it multiplies into dozens, then I will enable the word verification system.
I don't like it here because it should not require a CAPTCHA test to post if you're already logged into blogger but I reckon the spammers are posting from blogger accounts. It should be only active (the CAPTCHA) for anonymous posters, but that's not how it's setup.
Waiting for Blogger to change this too, as it violates ADA, at least not offering an alternative.
